I started The Modern Pros twenty years ago after working for years as a residential roofer. Working in this industry for years, I didn’t like what I saw from other companies. Cutting corners, cheaping on materials, misleading or disrespecting homeowners. Hiring a home improvement company shouldn’t be a difficult task, I started The Modern Pros because I want to be able to provide homeowners with good, honest work at a fair price. Jesse Giermanski

MEET JESSE
Jesse Giermanski is President and CEO of The Modern Pros, a full service home improvement company serving all of Southeastern Michigan. He started his company 20 years ago, in 1999. Prior to that he spent 6 years as one of the top cinder block makers of a large, regional concrete company.
Jesse acquired his residential builders license through the state of Michigan. He also carries a variety of certifications. Vinyl Siding Institute, CertainTeed and Airvent are just a few. He is a member of the Construction Association of Michigan. In his spare time, Jesse enjoys boating and car shows with friends and quality family time with his wife, children and dogs.
Jesse believes that There are no secrets to success. It is a result of preparation, hard work, and learning from failure. Jesse is obsessed with obtaining the best products and installers so he can give his clients the maximum value for their money.

MEET JAMES
James oversees every job that comes through The Modern Pros’s door. James works with the customer personally to make sure every aspect of the job is correct. James looks over the contracts in detail to choose which one of the Modern Pros expert crews will be the best fit for the job. James orders all materials with Modern’s suppliers, sets up all deliveries and has all final inspections done by the company and the city.
James has been with the company for 20 years since the start of the company in 1999. Before James became the project manager James started off in the company as a laborer and moved his way up the ladder to become the foreman of the crew. James is an expert as installing roofing, siding and gutters. James is certified in the Vinyl Siding Institute, Airvent, Lead Safety Renovation and James is a Master Shingle Applicator with CertainTeed.
In his spare time, James enjoys going to the gym, playing golf and spending time with friends and family. James lives by a simple code that any struggle in one’s life is just training to make you a stronger person and give you help to become a leader and help others in life. James strives to make sure that any work that is done by The Modern Pros is extraordinary and he makes sure that he is there for the customer every step of the job to take away any stress from the customer that can come along with home improvement projects.

MEET TODD
Todd Kehren, Sales manager at The Modern Pros since 2014 handles the hiring, training, and coaching of new and existing home improvement specialists. His prior background consists of home improvement sales, pipe fitting, electrician, masonry and roofing.
He attended the fire academy at Schoolcraft College prior to his sales career. Now carrying his Michigan Salesperson license and several other home improvement certifications in roofing and ventilation to name a few.
In his spare time, he enjoys his family, fishing, boating, traveling, golfing and hunting.
Todd’s family inspires him to stay positive, work hard and make it happen. His favorite quote is “Decide, commit and succeed.”
What motivates him is helping customers when they are in time of need and give them a positive experience leaving them with superior service quality from a great company.

Jon Lepo, Field Technician at The Modern Pros is always assisting in the continuous & efficacious running of the company
Jon started with The Modern Pros in 2016 and previously worked as a Psychological counselor for 2 years in Grand Rapids, as well as 2 years in Detroit specializing/focusing on the homeless population. He also worked as a commercial flat roof specialist in the extreme temps over in Phoenix, AZ.
Jon carries a B.S. in Psychology from Grand Valley State University (Graduated Cum Laude), M.S. in Clinical Health Psychology with associated minors in Human Genetics & Nutrition from University of Michigan (Graduated Magna Cum Laude) and is also a proud member of the American Psychological Association (APA)
In his spare time, he likes watching movies, listening to music, reading, and is addicted to Game of Thrones (books and TV)
