What to expect after hiring the modern pros.
Now that you have signed your contract with Modern Xterior Improvement, what happens now? We put together a timeline of what to expect of your job process. If you have any questions during your job, you can always reach out to your project manager directly or call our office and we'll be happy to help.
WITHIN A WEEK
After signing your contract, your paperwork is turned into our office for processing. A member of our office staff will contact you withing 1 week. We will notify you at that time that your deposit will be processed. Your paperwork then goes to our Project Manager for scheduling.
3-5 BUSINESS DAYS
Tentative Start Date
Our Project Manager will contact you within 3-5 days after your rescission period ends. During this conversation you will be given your tentative start date (weather permitting) and you will be informed of any instructions that may be needed to access your home during the duration of your project.
After you’ve received your tentative start date, you may experience a short time where you don’t hear from our office. Don’t worry, that’s expected. We are processing and finalizing the details of your job before we get started. 2nd measurements may be needed, materials may need to be ordered, etc. this is the time where we arrange for needed deliveries and make sure everything is ready to go! Our Project Manager will contact you as we grow closer to your tentative date to confirm exact time and day or project start.
Once we start your project, we do our absolute best to finish in a timely manner and complete the work as scheduled. Weather may delay our goals, but rest assured we do everything in our power to complete your job as quickly as possible.
After your job is done, it’s not quite complete! We do not consider ANY job 100% complete until we do an in-house final inspection done by one of our trained Pros separate from our installation crew. This happens typically within 3-5 business days after our installers have completed their job. This does not apply to small repair jobs or insulation and is a separate process from city or township inspections. We will be inspecting the quality of the workmanship by our installers, running the nail magnet again and finishing with our meticulous clean up. Once the final inspection is completed, at that time your project is finished.
Your job has passed our in-house inspection and is ready to collect final payment. Feel free to call us at any time during the process of your home improvement project if you have questions or concerns. We thank you for your business!
Reviews and Referrals
Earn rewards! Reviews are how we grow our business and earn valuable feedback. Current and past customers are eligible for a $25 Gift Card for leaving us a review on Google or Facebook. No, it doesn’t have to be a glowing review (although we love those) but you do have to be an actual customer, leave a written and honest review, and fill out our reward form to claim your reward. We also offer $50 referral gift cards to past customers. Have a friend or neighbor that needs our help? Send us a referral and when they hire the Modern Pros, we’ll send you a $50 gift card as a thank you!
